Getting To Better Know Our Amazing New Certified Orthdontic Assistant, Teesha

WE ARE VERY EXCITED for you to meet and get to know our new Orthodontic Clinical Technician, Teesha, a bit better! She is an incredible person and we know you will just love her!

So, We Asked Teesha A Few Fun Questions

So, we asked Teesha a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Those questions are found below—along with her answers. We hope you enjoy them!

Where are you originally from?

“I am originally from Vandalia, Ohio where I graduated high school. I presently reside in West Milton, Ohio.”

What made you decide that you wanted to become an orthodontic assistant?

“As a child my parents could not afford braces. I used to make retainers out of paper clips and melted wax to pretend I had braces. Later, as a young adult, I used my first income tax return for a down payment on orthodontia treatment. I had a great experience with the staff and pursued the field. Later, my orthodontist hired me.”

Do you have an unusual or interesting hobby?

“In my spare time I am usually photographing beautiful smiles. I am a part time photographer who gets to be creative through picture taking. Another way I get to be creative is through cooking. I love food of any kind!”

What do you enjoy most about being an orthodontic assistant?

“What I enjoy most about being in this field is the relationships you build with your patients. It is not just about straightening teeth, it’s about changing lives. I know braces sure changed mine.”

We hope this has helped you get to know Teesha a little better. We feel privileged to have her as an awesome team member here in our practice. With nearly 20 years experience in the field as a skilled Lab Technician and Certified Orthodontic Assistant, Teesha will continue to provide the outstanding patient experiences Mori Orthodontics is known for.
